Decided it was time for a new cover on my novel TEXT MESSAGE. There was nothing wrong with the old cover – it looked pretty good actually – but for some reason it didn’t sit well as an icon on the ‘what other customers’ bought lists on Amazon, which might have been one of the reasons why it never sold as well as my novel JIMMY. Now, with the new eye-catching cover designed by Neil Jackson, I think this will change. In fact, as of writing this, the novel is now once again on the UK Thriller Bestseller list. Coincidence? Maybe. It is hard to gage these things sometimes. I honestly believe this new cover will make a difference, though. First impressions mean a lot, especially when people have a dozen different items to chose from (some of them free), and with the old cover looking kind of fuzzy as an icon, there is a strong possibility that it was passed over time and time again.
